That’s why tourism studies is becoming such a popular training tool. In a business where customer expectations are constantly changing, keeping up with the increased options and demands created by a rapid and consumer oriented world, the travel and tourism diploma offers employees a chance to demonstrate something concrete to their bosses. It’s basically a way of proving that one has the knowledge, the drive and the expertise to respond well to the ever-shifting customer role across all the outposts of the industry: from hotels and hostels to restaurants and bars; from package tours and flight attending to adventure holidays and extreme sports.
