Share your travel experiences with the world to win cash prizes!

There are many people who travel around the world for various purposes, encountering varied funny, exciting, strange and unique situations. These experiences can be a pleasure to read for many others. There are many people who have an inclination for writing, and note down their personal traveling experiences in their personal diaries. But the only drawback of this habit is that those experiences remain in some bedroom dresser or box in the attic, and the writing is not shared with others. The reason for this is that many people are not aware that their travel stories can also be entered into contests and enable them to share these memorable and meaningful experiences with others. There are websites where you can publish your travel stories, and can also read the stories of other travelers from around the world.

Travel stories are fun to read as they are real and not fiction. People travel to new locations and gather exciting new travel experiences. While traveling, many people come across different people and places where they encounter unexpected situations that make their travel experiences highly interesting. People often have incredible experiences while exploring unfamiliar locations. Several documentaries and main stream movies have been based on travel stories of individuals. Many travel stories have also been the inspiration for others to explore new places. And certain stories even involve incidents that have become popular world-wide. (more…)

Travel The World By Jumping From Job To Job

Would you like to travel the world while supporting your travel expenses by jumping from job to job?

This is one of the great ways to travel the world without draining your bank accounts. Backpacking has never been practical, but it can be done for little to no expense because a lot of people are willing to give temporary jobs for travelers in exchange for free food and accommodation.

Another way is to use the Internet and do freelance online related jobs and earn money electronically. It may seem impossible to some but the possibilities are almost endless due to the advancements of technology in communications and travel.

The traditional approach of earning money on the trail is finding jobs in hostels. You can also find job listings where work is offered at farms and ranches. Common backpacking destinations, places like in Europe, New Zealand, and Australia, have plenty of temporary job offers. Travelers can take advantage of these if they want to save while traveling.

The Internet now has job listings in every location. It is better to bring an Internet-ready device, such as a laptop, smart phone, and other gadgets when taking trips because you can browse for information and find temporary work.

Work is usually menial, every day chores on farms, ranches, and even ordinary homes. Some websites may even offer jobs at small businesses as janitors, bartenders, or waiters. The offers vary from the very basic to highly specialized. It is better if you have special skills, like in technology, performing arts, entertainment, and crafts. In your travels, you’ll never know when and where you can use it to your advantage. (more…)

Get Paid to Travel the World ? and Never Hold a Job

Wouldn’t it be great to travel the world and get paid for doing so? When most people think about traveling, they think of the two outdated ‘travel models.’

1)    Work really, really hard and save a lot of money. Once you have ‘enough cash,’ you travel for as long as you can before going broke and getting another job (or go back to your old one).

2)    Travel as a part of your job. These would be low-paying jobs like working on a cruise ship, as a tour guide, bartender, adventure sport instructor, or simply getting a regular job in an exotic location. A better option, to be sure, but…
How can you travel wherever your heart desires, ‘working’ at something that fascinates you? The answer is closer that you may imagine, and a lot more attainable. No, you don’t have to sell anything to your friends or join a cult. I present to you option 3.

3)    Utilize simple technology to automatically provide people with value. For doing so, you make money.
Sound like fun? It definitely is.
The underground movement of travelers who hold no jobs and ‘work’ out of internet café’s and on laptops a few hours a day (or a week) grows larger every day. Here are some quick ways you can join this group.

Medical Tourism ? World Class Healthcare at an Affordable Cost

In the ever-changing world of international healthcare, medical tourism is a rising trend. In fact, medical tourism is a phenomenon that has taken the world of healthcare by storm in recent years. It remains a unique proposition that no only involves the healthcare industry but also has a significant impact on the tourism industry.

What is medical tourism? Why is everybody talking about it these days? And is it a good choice for you? Let’s try and answer these questions.

The practice of visiting new places in search of favorable climate or on just being advised by a doctor to go ‘on a change’ is not new. Medical tourism is just a refined form of this age old habit practice of humanity. In its broadest sense, medical tourism combines care for your health with international tourism. The primary reason behind its surging popularity is that it enables the common man to avail better healthcare services at an affordable budget. When one’s health is one’s concern, it is natural to look for the best treatment options within one’s budget. Countries such as India, Dubai and Malaysia are fast emerging as the forerunners in providing world-class healthcare facilities. These include a wide array of highly skilled healthcare professionals, trained in various specialized disciplines, state-of-the-art equipment and modern amenities, impeccable service and personal attention to every need of the patient and all these, at a cost that’s surprisingly affordable.

Most people in need of specialized healthcare services feel daunted by the high cost associated with them. Countries such as US, Canada or some European nations, offer the same high standard healthcare facilities as India, Malaysia or Dubai, at a cost that’s substantially greater. Let’s face it, not everybody can afford the high cost associated with healthcare services in his or her own country. Nor do all of us enjoy the benefits of a high medical insurance coverage.

All this naturally necessitates the need to look for similar healthcare services elsewhere, where the cost is significantly lower. Healthcare tourism makes it possible to save up to 80% (as compared to US/UK) on medical costs by opting for countries like India. Healthcare tourism in India is fast gaining in popularity because of this simple reason. (more…)
